Step by step
- Open My Classes, select the relevant class, then choose Gradebook.
- Use Add assessment for a manual assessment, or open an existing assessment to review and edit marks.
- For assignment or Marking Assistant results, check the correct assessment and student. Marking Assistant work must be reviewed and pushed to Gradebook.
- Inspect question-level marks and heatmaps where the assessment has question-level data.
- Use Export Excel to download the gradebook. Check the downloaded spreadsheet before sharing it.
Things to check
- Saving a mark and notifying a student are separate outcomes. Check the displayed confirmation rather than assuming an email was sent.
- Missing marks may be in another class/assessment or may not yet have been pushed.
- Only review or edit students and classes you are authorised to manage.
