MentorMind is here to help you learn, practise, explore ideas and ask questions. We want everyone using MentorMind to feel safe and respected.

Mindi can help explain ideas, give feedback and help you practise. It shouldn't be used to cheat in tests, complete restricted assessments for you or pretend AI-generated work is entirely your own when your school does not allow this.
Don't share passwords, private information or personal details about someone else without permission. Avoid putting sensitive personal information into AI chats unless your school has specifically told you that the feature is designed for it.
Testing ideas and being curious is fine. Deliberately trying to jailbreak MentorMind, bypass safeguards, gain unauthorised access or interfere with the Platform is not.
Learning sometimes involves difficult subjects — war, discrimination, health, relationships, literature, safeguarding and other sensitive topics. You can discuss these for legitimate educational reasons. MentorMind may place additional safeguards around particularly sensitive conversations.
Mindi can support your learning, but it is not a teacher, doctor, therapist or emergency service. If something is seriously worrying you or someone may be in danger, speak to a trusted adult or your school's safeguarding team.
If MentorMind gives you an unsafe or inappropriate response, or you see behaviour that concerns you, tell your teacher or contact us at contact@mentormind.co.uk.
We try to respond proportionately. Depending on what happened, we may give a warning, restrict a feature or account, or contact the relevant school. Serious safety, security or safeguarding concerns may require immediate action.
