Step by step
- Select the course, subject, topic and lesson requirements in Smart Lesson Planner.
- Attach up to 10 reference files, including separate page photos (10 MB each, 50 MB total). Reading checks and retries happen automatically; keep the page open. Use Additional context to explain your needs, within the 4,000-character limit.
- Choose Follow the uploaded material faithfully to preserve the source, or Create similar, original practice for new material. Follow my context instructions uses your written brief.
- Generate the lesson and review the objectives, activities and source coverage. Check slides and handouts separately before using or exporting them.
- While handouts are generated, follow Generating handouts and Saving handouts. Elapsed time is not a precise completion percentage; avoid starting a duplicate job.
- For missing answers, use Generate answers / repair questions with AI. An extra upload is optional. Review any labelled adaptations as well as the completed answers.
- Check Chinese text, diagrams and source pictures in the preview and exported files before printing or sharing.
Things to check
- Course and paper requirements still apply when you upload a source.
- Faithful mode still requires a review for missing activities or misread text.
- Cancel is unavailable while handouts are saving. Preserve completed work before refreshing.
